The entire staff operates as a "team" and we take pride in each staff member's training, experience and capabilities. Our staff members are highly skilled, caring personnel with high professional standards who assist the doctor with care of our patients, the appointments, records, and finances. We strive to meet the needs of our patients.

Dr. Coker

Dr. Coker has been in business for 27 years! You can expect to receive experienced and knowledgeable orthodontic recommendations. He and his wife Linda have three adult children: Tug, Lindsay, and Lorie. When not at the office, Dr. Coker enjoys history club, watching sports, his cooking class, and travel.

Orthodontic Clinical Assistants

Rebecca

Rebecca brings to the team 20 years of dental assisting experience. She joined the team in January 2009. She is from Ohio, and a huge Ohio State fan. Her husband, Victor, was in the Marine Corps and that is what brought them to Virginia. She has two sons, Tim and Jeremy who have blessed her with four grandchildren. She enjoys golf and working out at the gym.

Sylvia

Sylvia has been in dentistry for five years. She currently attends a school for dental hygiene. She is married to Aaron and has two children, Mckenna and Mason. She enjoys time with her family and watching Ohio State football.

Tonya

Tonya has been a dental assistant for seven years, specializing in pediatric dentistry for the last four. She and her husband reside in King George and enjoy boating, fishing, travel, and adventure sports in their free time.

Front Desk Ladies

Sue

Sue has worked with Coker Orthodontics for five years. She is originally from Maine, but has resided in Virginia for the past ten years. Sue enjoys reading, hiking, exercise classes, and spending time with family and friends.

Linda

Linda has been involved in Coker Orthodontics in one way or another for 20 years. There are three adult children in her family. She enjoys working in the garden, cooking, and reading.

Wanda

Financial Coordinator

Wanda has recently joined our team. She has been in the dental field for ten years. Wanda has two adult children, Stefanie and Jennifer, and two grandchildren. She and her husband, Bill, enjoy spending time with the family, watching football, and riding on their Harley.

Melissa

Treatment Coordinator

Melissa has recently joined our team. She brings her experience in Public Health and a degree in Hospitality Management. She moved to this area with her husband, a Marine. Melissa has two cats, no children yet. She enjoys visiting family, getting her nails done, and shoe shopping.
