I have been serving the Fredericksburg area and its surrounding communities since 1984 and have been committed to providing a high standard of care to each and every patient I see. I participate in continuing education courses each year, enabling me to stay at the forefront of my specialty and to be able to provide the most up-to-date care. I think I am in the best profession in the world and love interacting with my patients and their families. I enjoy the challenge of each case and am excited to share the wonderful outcome of a completed new smile.
Education
I receive my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and my Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. I completed my orthodontic training and residency at the University of Michigan.
Continuing Education
I am a member of the Schulman Study Group, an organization of orthodontists that are committed to staying at the forefront of technology to ensure the highest quality of treatment for our patients.

In the Community
I have invested countless hours in the youth in the Fredericksburg area. I have coached and sponsored many youth sport teams, choosing the team name "Retainers". In the Fredericksburg community I sponsor the Riverside Children's Theatre, The Turkey Trot and the Great Train Race. I am committed to the Fredericksburg area and the families that live here. I sponsor The Festival of Trees that benefits Hope House. I am a charter member of the Rappahannock Rotary Club and have been a member of St. George's Episcopal Church and served on its vestry twice.
Outside the Office
My wife, Linda, and I live in Fredericksburg, VA, where we enjoy travel, sports and spending time with our three grown children.
