Braces
are used to move teeth into proper alignment, correcting malocclusion
(bad bite). Braces work by appling gentle, steady pressure over
time.
To achieve the complex system of directional forces needed to achieve
facial harmony, Dr. Coker attaches braces (which generally consist
of metal or clear brackets and wires) to produce slight, gentle
pressure on each tooth. During the treatment, Dr. Coker will make
periodic adjustments to maintain the directional pressure required
to continue the movement of the teeth.

The
Most Popular Braces in the World
Dr.
Coker uses Mini Diamond braces because they were designed with both
patient comfort and clinical efficiency in mind. These braces are
30% smaller than traditional appliances, which makes them more comfortable
to wear -- not to mention less noticeable on your teeth.
